Honfleur welcomes its boaters in the very heart of its Vieux Bassin. A unique setting in the region which attracts many yachts and sailboats in season. On the edge of the basin, the tall, narrow slate houses dating from the 17th and 18th centuries offer, in fact, an exceptional setting for visitors stopping over in the small maritime city.
Very beautiful canvas in the colors of Normandy, to represent Honfleur… and its basin. In the distance one can discover the city with its church, and then the boats of the port lining up on the edge of the pontoons. The colors give a warm atmosphere to the canvas. The reflections in shades, ocher, brown and red that stand out in the water give a beautiful light to this set. The gaze is attracted by these colors and it leads us towards an unknown destiny made of wealth and pleasure. It invites to escape and fullness. This is why this figurative set was created.
