About this artwork
This work belongs to the Torsion series, where large curved structures twist in space like wooden elements suspended in an empty, atmospheric environment. The sinuous forms generate a continuous movement that contrasts with the straight beams running through the composition, creating a dialogue between fluidity and rigidity.
The human figures, positioned on different planes atop the platforms, provide scale and a narrative of exploration, underscoring… the monumentality of the forms and the feeling of standing before an impossible landscape. The dramatic lighting and the depth of the background reinforce the surreal and sculptural character of the work.
The result is a piece that combines organic geometry, spatial tension and an almost cinematic atmosphere, inviting the viewer to enter a universe where matter seems to come to life.
