About this artwork
This artwork was born in a moment when I was holding onto hope with everything I had. I was standing between what I wished for and what I feared losing, and I poured that feeling into this canvas. The gold stroke is the sun the promise of something better, something warm, something I was reaching for. The blue is the ocean the depth of my emotions, the waves that pulled and pushed me as I tried to stay afloat.
In the middle, where the colors meet,… is my hope. Not perfect, not steady but alive. Swimming, struggling, refusing to sink. Searching for the door that would finally open.
This painting carries a piece of my heart. It’s the story of fighting through doubt, of believing in something even when everything feels uncertain, of holding on to the smallest light. I hope that whoever stands in front of this piece feels that same fragile strength
the feeling of trying, of hurting, of hoping anyway.
