Halinka Jakubowska is an award-winning sculptor based in Belgium who's work has been featured in several solo exhibitions nationally. She believes that a sculptor is attentive to the laws and structures of matter, transforming material until a new form emerges. These forms are imbued with meaning that becomes a language. Creating with a variety of materials, which include bronze, stone, steel, and wood, Jakubowska often seeks out unique pieces in nature that inspire her artistic process.
