About this artwork
Marseille Skyline is a work that the artist dedicates to the city of Marseille with the main monuments that identify it all painted on a single canvas.
Looking at the painting from right to left you can recognize the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de La Garde which dominates Marseille and from which you can admire a splendid panorama of the city and the Mediterranean.
In the center dominates the great Palais Longchamp attraction for its undoubted aesthetic… beauty and cultural center of Museums. Continuing you go down to the Cathedral de la Major near the Old Port synthesis of the spirit of the city with its markets, restaurants, cafes that create an authentic landscape.
Hani Badawi combines the technique of geometric perspective with a unique personal abstract style.
A single work is born but when observed from afar it seems to be made up of different works placed side by side, united by colored sketches with an aesthetic sense of abstract painting.
