About this artwork
The material used create a dynamic texture relationship. I painted with a thick wet acrlylic paint and on top of that i used black Indian ink, so the two materials were interacting while still wet. When the painting dried completely I added lines with a thick, high quality oil stick, of a unique pigment" pearl. Those highlights apear as you walk by and change your perspective. THE VARIETY OF MATERIAL was used to explore the tension between order…
and chaos. I wanted to capture the feeling of waiting for change while everything seems to repeat itself endlessly. The intense yellow conveys energy and hope, while the black lines burst forth like doubts or challenges. This painting will fill your space with a vibrant reflection on patience and transformation.
