In this painting I captured the harsh yet calming beauty of winter.
Using watercolors and pencil, I created the impression of a snow-covered landscape dominated by gray and white, but enlivened by occasional brown and red accents.
This image is meant to delight the viewer. It is a homage to the quiet power of nature in winter. It brings an atmosphere of peace to our souls.
