About this artwork
This is one of my first abstract symbols—a meditation on Isaiah 40:31.
My depression gradually subsided when I took the words of the prophet Isaiah seriously. I received new strength, hope and joy.
In this important work, "Power," I use abstract and metaphysical elements to create a dynamic composition that speaks of inner energy and transformation. The wild brushstrokes and bold use of acrylic paint reflect a world in transition that holds both… chaos and beauty. This painting is intended to inspire the viewer to explore the depth of their own emotions and recognize the power of personal renewal.
