About this artwork
In this painting I captured the calm and simplicity of the everyday. The combination of oil and pencil allows for depth and texture that highlight the nature of each object - the glassy sheen of the bottle, the robust surface of the jug. My goal was to create an atmosphere of stillness and timeless permanence that can have a calming effect in any home.
This impressive work can be delivered with frame and glass. For many years I preferred to paint… still lifes.
The three vessels communicate with each other – a quiet still life conversation.

I paint expressively and impressionistically in my acrylic, oil and watercolor paintings.
It is an intuitive art form that attempts to depict mental states.
I create symbolic images that strengthen and convey hope.
My painting is a radiant testament to faith. Feelings such as peace, strength, and security become palpable.
I have a strong desire to create.
Some of my works are done using chiffon technique.
designed.
I apply the oil paint to white paper or high-quality Bristol board using a brush and chiffon cloth. I then refine the images with a pencil, giving them a special texture.
My intuitive painting style gives the works an atmosphere of transparency, lightness and softness.
