Hansa Sethi (b. 1995) is a psychological artist exploring mental and emotional states through lived experience. Shaped by encounters with depression, numbness, and internal collapse, her work translates non-verbal psychological conditions into visual form through color, structure, material, and spatial tension.

Her practice resists framing mental illness as purely dark, instead acknowledging its complexity—simultaneously chaotic, seductive, void, and intense, where discomfort and beauty coexist.

Grounded in philosophical inquiry, her work engages with questions of consciousness, identity, relationships, and human existence. Emerging from a period of personal rupture, her practice evolved from instinctive survival into a disciplined exploration. Her work does not explain experience—it makes it visible, driven by a persistent inquiry into what it means to be human.
