About this artwork
I created here a emotional painting. The work was inspired by hiking trips in the woods above to the mountains on a bright evening. The painting is also influencend from deep emotions just in this moment.
I convey different materials and techniques to display it.It is worked in acrylic.
My process is immersive and atmospheric and includes spontaneous elements of painting.
I am drawing the emotional scenery of a hiking trip, on a colder but brighter… evening, surrounded by big trees in the woods and the special noise in this moment. Above on the heaven the stars and the moon surrounded by a cloud. The bright moonlight shows a mountain silhouete before. The different elements come togetheter to a complet story.
Brandl, a former civil servant-turned-painter, sourced inspiration from nature, mythology, and cosmos. Using an array of tools from brushes and spatulas to pouring techniques in acrylic art, he integrates elements like stones into his paintings for effect. His pieces resonate with a profound call for respect of Mother Nature, interwoven with allusions to ancient mythology. His artworks are a poignant meditation on freedom and intellectual liberation.
