« The combination of text and image can provoke questions, draw attention to overlooked details, or simply offer a moment of poetic escape—transporting us to new places, guided by the imagination. »
Harald-M. Lehnardt, a two-time Fulbright Scholar for his academic and creative achievements, began his studies in Visual Communication in Germany before earning a Master of Arts in Media Studies from Parsons School of Design | The New School in New York. He lived 14 years in Manhattan and 12 years in Hawaii—experiences that deeply shaped his artistic vision. His work combines photography, printmaking, and digital media, drawing on Abstract Expressionism and designers like Paul Rand and David Carson. Typography plays a central role, with carefully chosen text fragments forming rich, layered, and semiotic narratives.

His Limited Edition canvas Giclées are hand-finished with matte gel medium, transparent modeling paste, and acrylic varnish, adding unique texture and painterly depth.
