About this artwork
„Venedig-Maske“ ist ein visuelles Feuerwerk – ein Gemälde, das in Farbe und Komposition gleichermaßen explodiert. Die beiden Gesichter im Zentrum verschmelzen zu einem Spiegelbild innerer und äußerer Maskierung. Das Werk evoziert den venezianischen Karneval, wo Identitäten verschwimmen und Emotionen hinter Pracht und Ornament verborgen werden.
Die Farben: wild, mutig, psychologisch aufgeladen. Türkis, Magenta, Blutrot, Schwarz und leuchtendes Orange… fließen ineinander. Organische Linien, Wirbel, florale Andeutungen und kubistische Brüche vermischen sich zu einem kaleidoskopischen Portrait – nicht von einer Person, sondern von einem Zustand.
Das Gemälde spielt mit Symmetrie und Dekonstruktion: Links dominiert Weichheit und Rundung, rechts erscheint das Gesicht kantiger, analytischer – fast sezierend. Es ist ein Spiel mit Masken und Wahrheiten, mit Oberfläche und Tiefe.

In my works, I combine hidden faces, architectural structures, and colorful landscapes. My central theme is the complex, intangible world and the role of humans in it.
