About this artwork
In this piece, I try to capture the quiet tension between darkness and light, blending semi-abstract forms with soft purples in a serene yet mysterious twilight landscape to evoke calm and introspection. It brings a soothing, contemplative energy, perfect for any space seeking a peaceful, almost meditative atmosphere.
Haykal Khalil, a self-taught painter, works primarily with acrylic on canvas and draws from a background rooted in perseverance and self-discovery. His technique features fluid, abstract landscapes shaped by bursts of inspiration, blending elements of surrealism and peaceful impressionism to evoke nature’s forms through dreamlike color play. His artworks are meditative, offering tranquil escapes while subtly threading in the tension between serenity and the disruptive forces of reality.
