About this artwork

Original, oil on canvas artwork, painted with only palette knife. I was inspired by magical cosy streets during my trip to Rome. The painting has thick texture, it captures a magical, almost dreamlike stroll down a mysterious Roman street at night. Through thick, impasto strokes and vibrant contrasts, I've blended expressionism with impressionism to evoke the warm glow of streetlights reflecting off damp cobblestones, and the lush quiet of foliage… that whispers ancient tales. It's a piece that invites the viewer to lose themselves in the timeless beauty and romantic allure of Rome, adding an enigmatic yet inviting atmosphere to any room.
