About this artwork
Very precise and lovingly taken photographs of Swiss alpine huts, taken from old SAC club yearbooks, serve as the background for this series. I'm most fascinated by the isolated, isolated huts. By reworking them with oil, I can further emphasize this uniqueness and remove unnecessary elements. I isolate the scene and thereby create new moods, both in terms of color and content, depending on what needs to be removed and what should remain.
