In this work I wanted to convey the special fragility and tenderness of the moment when a person is alone with herself. The figure of the woman is turned back, as if a little shy, but there is no fear in this gesture - only softness, natural modesty, which makes her image lively and touching.
The pink background emphasizes warmth and sensuality, creating a feeling of lightness and comfort. The body is depicted without unnecessary idealization, because… beauty is in the naturalness, in smooth curves, in soft shadows that emphasize the forms.
This painting is about self-acceptance, about tenderness to one's body, about the fact that modesty is not an attempt to hide, but an inner harmony that allows you to be yourself.
