I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
Space Dolphins ~ was such a fun painting to do, I enjoyed every minute of it. Over the years when the dead of winter sets in, I’ve noticed that I tend to do a tropical painting. Last February, I painted the Cosmic… Whale and to continue with that theme the idea came to me to paint two dolphins around a blue star with their songs expanding out into the universe. I’ve always loved dolphins and painted them many times, I like to paint double dolphins, since I was born in a pair with my twin sister, we’re were born in during the Pisces season, a water sign with the symbol of the double fish.
