About this artwork
This work captures the tension between chaos and control. With the vibrant colors orange and blue, I wanted to make visible the inner conflicts and movements we often carry hidden. The delicate lines and bold areas of color create a dynamic energy that fills any room with a powerful, contemplative atmosphere—a reflection of human emotions and their constant flow.
Hildegard Schnorrenberg is a painter with a solid foundation in painting and drawing, which she completed at the Alanus Werkhaus in Alfter. She works intuitively with oils, acrylics, oil pastels, acrylic markers, monotype, and screen printing, exploring the tension between figuration and abstraction through multifaceted, expressive, and raw processes. Her art evokes deep emotional resonance and invites the viewer to linger and connect with its underlying moods and energies.
