About this artwork
Keith Richards. He is a founding member of the British band The Rolling Stones, which has existed since 1962 and has been part of the formation as a rhythm and lead guitarist since then. His riffs and licks are formative for the sound of the Rolling Stones, occasionally he also appears as the band's singer, as a soloist, as an electric bass player and in other formations. Richards co-writes with frontman Mick Jagger. The author duo Jagger/Richards… has been a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame since 1993. The picture is half analog and half digitally painted, then digitally combined on canvas, mounted on a 4 cm thick stretcher frame and a stable wooden cross on the back, finally finished with acrylic paint. Steps/working method: analog, digital, analog. Unique.
« In 2017 I was able to exhibit my works in Hanover together with top-class artists such as Picasso, Warhol and Beuys, that was my personal artistic highlight! »
Digital and analogue painting, Mühlbauer-Gardemin has mastered many techniques. Born on the North Sea coast and creative from childhood. At the age of 3, Mühlbauer-Gardemin picked up the pencil for the first time to draw his first picture. Today one would say: Art has always been in his blood and is now anchored in his DNA. In order to let his mind run free, Mühlbauer-Gardemin studied painting and graphic design in Bremen and then worked for various agencies and publishers. In 1996, self-employment finally followed. The nucleus of his art: a spacious studio in Wilhelmshaven.
