About this artwork
New York from above! Experience the vibrant life of the city with my pop art painting of New York! The artwork shows the street canyons and the heavy traffic that make this city so unique. Life is raging here and the painting captures exactly this spirit. With a view of the metropolis from above, it offers a unique view of the skyline and immerses you in the heart of the city! The picture is half analog and half digitally painted, then digitally… combined on canvas, mounted on a 4 cm thick stretcher frame and a stable wooden cross on the back, finally finished with acrylic paint. Steps/working method: analog, digital, analog. Unique.
« In 2017 I was able to exhibit my works in Hanover together with top-class artists such as Picasso, Warhol and Beuys, that was my personal artistic highlight! »
Digital and analogue painting, Mühlbauer-Gardemin has mastered many techniques. Born on the North Sea coast and creative from childhood. At the age of 3, Mühlbauer-Gardemin picked up the pencil for the first time to draw his first picture. Today one would say: Art has always been in his blood and is now anchored in his DNA. In order to let his mind run free, Mühlbauer-Gardemin studied painting and graphic design in Bremen and then worked for various agencies and publishers. In 1996, self-employment finally followed. The nucleus of his art: a spacious studio in Wilhelmshaven.
