About this artwork
In this painting, I wanted to capture the vibrant energy of this little corner of paradise bathed in light, where each tree dances with the lights and wild colors. Acrylic allowed me to play with bold contrasts and dancing shadows, expressing the vitality and serenity of the place. Hortense Bataille, a painter trained at the Beaux-Arts de Caen and enriched by her years in the United States, works primarily in watercolor, oil, acrylic, dry pastel, and collage.
