With this collage, I wanted to capture the delicate beauty and fairytale charm of bygone eras. The combination of watercolor, colored pencil, and graphite gives the lobster an authentic depth that appears both vintage and vibrant. This piece brings a captivating blend of nature and nostalgia into your home, radiating a calm yet powerful energy. Delivered in a frame WITHOUT glass (for safety reasons).
Disegnisandra - Alexandra Zeillinger uses mixed media, primarily multi-layered paper collages, and draws on a solid education in the art trade and a self-taught drive influenced by her teacher, the artist Herwig Zens. Her technique is representational-surreal with a distinct three-dimensionality, always on dark backgrounds, integrating a variety of materials. Due to the strength of the objects, the works are always mounted in object frames or on canvas in floater frames. Her works address environmental, political, feminism, and social issues, but also incorporate personal and decorative aspects. In this way, she awakens curiosity, contemplation, and often a quiet wonder in the viewer at the emotional depth and complexity of her art. Alexandra Zeillinger is a member of the Professional Association of Fine Artists of Austria, a member of the artist collective Artfactory-Graz, and the Salzburg Art Association.
