About this artwork
I created this artwork using India ink and pigments to capture the mysterious essence of a hidden space, both wild and protective. The deep blue hues evoke a calming energy, while the semi-abstract lines symbolize movement and freedom. This painting will bring an atmosphere of profound tranquility and inner exploration to your home.
Hysao Takagi primarily uses Chinese calligraphy, Indian ink, pure pigments, and rice paper, drawing on her experience between Japan and France, as well as her passion for dance. Her technique is distinguished by the superposition of layers, mastery of line, and the subtle union of abstraction and writing, integrating choreographic gestures and artisanal refinement. Her works express the fusion of energy, contemplation, and freedom, inviting us to feel the poetry of the moment and the profound harmony between body and mind.
