When I look up, I escape.
Escape from the sameness of gray, lifeless buildings.
Escape from the rectangular world we’re told to fit into.
And above it all — I find clouds.
Clouds that drift with no destination, unbound by design.
They paint the sky with colors I could never have imagined.
Some whisper joy.
Others overwhelm me with silence.
But always, they remind me:
Freedom is soft, floating, and often found above.
This painting is a quiet… record of that reminder —
A choice to look up.
