About this artwork
In this oil painting, I sought to capture the transcendent beauty of a serene twilight where two cranes find solace in each other's company. The undulating water and the vivid, melting sky are imbued with passionate strokes of pink and purple, reflecting the emotional depth and harmony in nature. This artwork is a homage to peaceful coexistence and the poetic dance of life, inviting warmth and introspective tranquility into any space it graces.

« I like the colors which people lack in everyday life. The world is too dynamic and modern- that’s why it sometimes lacks color. »
Ihor Bychkivskyy is an experienced artist from Czechia whose paintings have been exhibited in solo and group shows internationally. Working in the style of impressionism, Bychkivskyy paints a variety of subject matter, from landscapes to portraits, always placing emphasis on his rich color palette. He uses the technique of a spatula with oil paints to bring a wide range of colors to life, creating dreamlike canvases that enhance reality.
Recently, he began painting in an original technique called "plyontanism."(from the Ukrainian word "plyontaty" - to weave, intertwine, thread) in which paint is applied in thin colored lines that intertwine at different angles, creating the effect of volume and luminescence.
He has been exhibiting regularly since 2008, with more than twelve solo and group exhibitions. Since 2014, he has been a member of the Free Association of Artists of South Bohemia, and since 2018 also part of an international artists' group in Maribor, Slovenia.
