No meu trabalho, as relações entre o ser humano e o espaço em que habita são constantemente representadas por estruturas visuais e não visuais, muitas vezes impostas pela sociedade, pela cultura, pela política e pelo comportamento individual.
Trata-se sempre de uma imagem de um espaço imaginário criado por nós próprios. A arte é o que essa imagem representa para cada um de nós.
Nascido em São Paulo, Brasil, Ike Ferreira é formado em Arquitetura… e Urbanismo pela FAAP.
Desde 2016, em busca da sua paixão pela arte, decidiu fazer dela a sua atividade principal ao mudar-se de São Paulo para Lisboa.
Trata-se sempre de uma imagem de um espaço imaginário criado por nós próprios. A arte é o que essa imagem representa para cada um de nós.

I was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil (1982). Enrolled in Architecture and Urbanism at FAAP (São Paulo, Brazil) in 2002 and was awarded the first place in a group competition representing the university for the 6th International School Competition of the 6th. International Architecture Biennial at São Paulo in 2005.
Then, I moved to Brisbane, Australia to deepen my knowledge on such fields of Photography and Architecture at Queensland University of Technology (Brisbane, Australia) in 2006. Having graduated in 2008 at FAAP, I worked with architecture until 2015, having worked among the biggest architectural companies in the world and some really nice smaller places as well. In the pursuit of my passion for art I then decided to make it my main activity since 2016. When i moved from Sao Paulo to Lisbon.
