About this artwork
I wanted to explore the fragile boundary between the tangible world and the inner one.
The female figure emerges as a suspended presence, immersed in a space where memory, symbol, and matter coexist in unstable equilibrium.
The essential, almost sculptural face is juxtaposed against a vibrant, fluid environment, punctuated by signs, objects, and fragments that evoke silent rituals and mental landscapes. The composition combines figurative and… abstract elements in an open narrative, leaving room for the viewer's emotional intuition.
The soft, powdery palette interacts with deeper, more graphic contrasts, creating a tension between delicacy and intensity. The objects in the foreground are not simple still lifes, but symbolic presences: containers of memory, absence, and transformation.
The intention behind this work is to invite us to contemplate that invisible place where identity, dreams and spirituality meet.
