About this artwork
White currant branch.
Original work. One of two paintings of the same size and subject matter - summer berries - white and red currants.
In the foreground berries, their transparent skin through which you can see the seeds. Their lens effect in the glow of the sunbeam is flawless. I tried to make the berries as realistic as possible, but the leaves are done with a mastichin in an arbitrary form, a kind of extravaganza that complements the beauty… of the currant bunches.

I am an artist dedicated to Dramatic Realism. My work is a search for inner light, where I transform simple motifs into powerful emotional statements. Using the classical principle of Chiaroscuro, I create a tense, expressive atmosphere where every shadow serves to emphasize the triumph of light.

Impasto is the soul of my technique. To achieve ultimate depth and permanence, I work exclusively with Michael Harding professional oil paints. Their rich, historical pigments allow me to create a palpable, tactile surface where colors radiate an "inner illumination" from the darkness of the canvas.
