About this artwork
In this painting, I have connected two female figures (symbol of friendship) with a ribbon (symbol of unity) that runs across the work.
The background consists of collages of landscapes, resembling a globe.
The writings are intended to further reinforce these important values.
It aims to highlight the positive aspects of this time. Even if a pandemic returns, friendship and the wonderful nature we live in will remain.
The dynamic movement of… the women captures pure joy of life and friendship; the two women radiate energy and freedom. With vibrant colors and a playful composition, I want to bring joy and connection into every room – an expression of fun and carefree living.
The painting includes a 3D shadow gap frame made of natural, unvarnished abachi wood. Profile width 54 mm, profile height 55 mm. Visible edge 23 mm, rebate dimension approx. 3 mm.
For the artist Inge Gründel-Pfaff, painting is not just a craft, but a way to bring joy into everyday life. This conviction permeates every canvas, every brushstroke, and every project she undertakes. Inge's work is characterized by the conviction that art should uplift people. With vibrant colors and dynamic compositions, she transforms everyday motifs into vivid experiences. Animals, landscapes, and abstract motifs frequently appear in her paintings, but each work carries a deeper intention: to awaken energy, warmth, and optimism. Her art is not limited to traditional gallery walls. Inge also creates large-scale works for public spaces, where her colors interact directly with natural light and the surrounding environment. These projects highlight her ability to express her creativity on a larger scale while maintaining the same intensity as in her smaller works.
