About this artwork

"The party is not over" is an optimistic and colorful and detailed painting. The bottom is pink and light purple and above is lots of different colors, many in thick 3d acrylic paint. A little glitter. Pink, blue, yellow, white, purple, black, turquoise and red. The edges are like the bottom color. Ready for suspension on the high joint - but if you want cords for suspension on the other joint - I am happy to put it on before shipping. Semi glossy… varnish. Need no frame- but if you wish this you can see different photos of frame examples in the additional photos
This painting and the title are inspired by the time we are living in right now with war , fear and unhappiness around us. We have to believe that it will end soon and that people have a chance to live a good life.

Inge Thogersen is an established Danish painter who has exhibited her work nationally. She took up painting in her late 40s, and also works as a family therapist, transferring her fascination with human relationships and experiences onto her canvases. Additionally inspired by music and nature, she composes abstract paintings that carry an optimistic energy and speak to the imagination.
