About this artwork
In ancient times the Greeks used two different terms to define time:
CRONOS to indicate the passing of minutes (and therefore its quantitative nature)
KAIROS to indicate the qualitative nature of the same or the ability to do the right thing at the right time. In the dimension of Kairos time stops and reality becomes immobilized, escaping the linear circularity of Cronos. The work is an invitation to enter this garden.
Iolanda Bocelli, a talented self-taught artist, expresses her creativity through acrylics, tempera, watercolors and sculpture, having studied at the Istituto d'Arte Gazzola in Piacenza. Favoring styles that combine Surrealism, Futurism and Dadaism, she enchants with her works that blend collage techniques with the use of acrylic colors and enamels. In each detail, Bocelli releases emotions and thoughts, through a game of imaginative transformation, opening doors to enchanted worlds.
