About this artwork
This three-part work (each 30x30 cm, priced at €350) transports the viewer to an abstracted mountain world. Acrylic, salt, and coffee merge into an unusual material poetry: earthy browns and delicate rosé nuances evoke nature and transience, while luminous white emphasizes the mountain peaks like freshly fallen snow.
The scriptural quote 'the white peak' serves as both an anchor and an invitation to focus on the fleeting: the moment when a summit… emerges from the mist, sharp yet ephemeral.
Coffee and salt give the superficial a vibrant structure: they represent everyday life, enjoyment and simultaneous transformation, when the ordinary is turned into art.
The work not only depicts, but makes tangible, between grounding and elevation, between word and image, between reality and memory.
