About this artwork
i experimented with the ancient technique of mosaic. it was a very exciting project - i created a three piece series about faces of beings we might see in dreams. whether the faces are from nightmares or happy dreams is up for debate. the material itself was very rigid compared to painting that is my usual medium but turned out really lively and the black grout brings out each ceramic piece even more.
