About this artwork
This painting is a part of a 4 piece series called “exaggerated, reduced, distorted”. Through them I explored mental hospitals and the way a big part of society likes to stereotype, stigmatize and categorize it. Every painting of the series focuses on a different part of the topic - a typical view of patients, the place as the ward, the place as the workplace and this particular painting focuses on the workers.
