About this artwork
"Memories. The Old Carpet" is a figurative painting and, at the same time, a quiet journey inward. I was returning to myself — through colors, textures, and familiar warmth.
At the center is a female figure, faceless but present, suspended between memory and reality. Behind her stretches a flame-like pattern reminiscent of an old woven carpet — from childhood, from home, or perhaps from imagination. It blends abstraction, symbolism, and an organic… rhythm that rises from within.
I painted this story through color. The warm palette of reds and greens led me through nostalgia, calm, and inner fire. This work is an attempt to preserve not the fact, but the emotion.
