Have you ever been to a sandy or rocky desert at night? The silence and cold are impressive and such moments inspire me to paint!
These two new works consist of many layers of ultramarine pure, high-quality pigments, such as lapis lazuli from Afghanistan, and were processed using various antiquing techniques to create the extreme breaks and structures. It therefore offers many different perspectives and aims to establish communication with you,… the viewer. What do you see? What are your deep thoughts that may not yet be clearly described? What do you see and feel?

Isabel Kleinert is an experienced painter and sculptor from Germany whose works are regularly exhibited in national and international exhibitions.
