About this artwork
This abstract painting on linen exudes a quiet, contemplative composition. It features a deconstructed piece in a muted palette of off-white, black, ochre, and subtle gray tones. The background, a raw linen surface, remains partially exposed, allowing the texture of the fabric to play an active role in the overall aesthetic.
Three dominant forms seem to float across the canvas in an asymmetrical yet balanced arrangement. These fragmented elements—composed… of layered textures, gestural black lines, and hints of ochre—appear like architectural ruins, distant landscapes, or symbolic remnants. The brushstrokes range from controlled verticals to spontaneous sweeps, some suggestive of movement, others of stillness.
Despite its minimalism, the work conveys a sense of spatial tension and poetic rhythm. The restraint in color and form invites the viewer into a meditative space where interpretation becomes personal and open-ended.
