About this artwork
With this painting, I wanted to represent doing things that are contrary to conventional thinking, the opposite of what is expected of you, events that do not happen in the order of things, like the woman's hair going in an indefinite direction and the parrot's wings being somewhat contrary to what we are used to seeing.
