About this artwork
A fine light, dew, a palette of warm colors ...
Not quite the dream, not quite the awakening. Around, the graceful veils of the secret world recede. The fine woven wefts join clandestine workshops. Invisible insects are at
the work. The sails of the ephemeral spectacle will disappear towards other delicate dreams for other enchantments ...
« "As long as I can explain why things are in a certain place in my paintings, I think it is not good. It must be free, it must become a mystery. -Per Kirkeby" »
Isabelle Schenckbecher-Quint is a French painter whose art has been featured nationally in both solo and group exhibitions. Her art imbues the elemental themes such as the cycle of nature, composition, decomposition and metamorphosis. Schenckbecher-Quint allows the expression of her feelings and moods to dictate the colour palette and projects a pictoral writing onto canvas. She uses acrylic paints because it is the only possible technique that adapts to her “dazzling”.
