About this artwork
A walk in the sun and the vegetation of a small cool corner, in Alsace.
A path, grasses, rocks, brush and insects disturbed by the footsteps of walkers.
A bath in nature in the wild!
This canvas comes in the form of a kakemono, but it can also be stretched on a frame.
The canvas offered as a kakemono affirms its lightness by simply being fixed at the top and bottom by small wooden cleats. A cord allows the attachment.
Everything is in harmony… with nature...
« "As long as I can explain why things are in a certain place in my paintings, I think it is not good. It must be free, it must become a mystery. -Per Kirkeby" »
Isabelle Schenckbecher-Quint is a French painter whose art has been featured nationally in both solo and group exhibitions. Her art imbues the elemental themes such as the cycle of nature, composition, decomposition and metamorphosis. Schenckbecher-Quint allows the expression of her feelings and moods to dictate the colour palette and projects a pictoral writing onto canvas. She uses acrylic paints because it is the only possible technique that adapts to her “dazzling”.
