Islam-kant is an experienced painter from the Netherlands whose works have been featured in solo and group shows nationally. Working as a doctor, it was by chance that Islam-kant began painting one day out of curiosity, and he has developed his practice ever since. He paints abstract works in acrylic and oil on canvas that play with color, contrast, and light, and range from busy drip paintings to more minimalist swatches of color.
