About this artwork
A geometric architectural form with a pink color, unusual for usually gray concrete, divides the natural landscape into two parts in perfect proportions.It separates the sky full of clouds from the calm water in which we see subtle reflections of a pink architectural shape. In this painting I am looking for a contemporary harmony of architecture and nature.
The painting was inspired by the work of the Mexican architect L. Barragan, whom I appreciate… very much.
I painted the picture using my own structural painting technique to show the diversity of structures and add expression and dynamics to this work.
