About this artwork
The title of this painting, inspired by Orhan Pamuk's well-known book "My name is red", implicitly shows red as the main theme of the painting. Against the background of a red wall, I painted a yellow-green iris bud, which, thanks to the energy of the red color, will soon bloom. The multi-tone red background creates a structural symbolic base for the fragile plant. The painting is framed in a coffer frame with a rustic character in black and gray.…
