This wooden sculpture depicts a woman in a neon yellow swimsuit. The artist was inspired by his love of water and wanted to depict the joy of swimming in open water. The choice of a female subject challenges traditional gender roles and emphasizes freedom in the water. The sculpture celebrates the natural world and the strength of women. The artist hopes to inspire viewers to appreciate the wonders of nature.

« My works are only the source of inspiration for interpretations, the stories are created in people's heads. »
Jörg Herz is a Munich-based artist who discovered his passion in painting and sculpture. He uses spruce wood as a creative material, which he then chainsaws to create whimsical and idiosyncratic sculptures. His works often humorously sketch everyday human life. With his powerful, often neon-colored sculptures and paintings, Herz speaks directly to the viewer and encourages their own interpretations.
