About this artwork
My work fuses acrylic, pigment inks, fabric fibers and spray paint into a symphony of geometry and metaphysics. In a semi-abstract, symbolic way, spheres rise in a dynamic equilibrium to symbolize energies and dreams unfolding in our universe. The color composition creates an atmosphere of deep, mystical beauty that brings a transformative energy to any space.
Dealing with the creative forces of the cosmos and nature, and the resulting living spaces… for us humans. Acrylic paintings with incorporated textile fibers that create structure and depth.
You are buying an original painting by me with acrylic paints, spray paint, pigment ink and textile fibers on canvas, the side edges (3.8 cm) are painted. The work is provided with a final varnish and signed on the front and back. It can be hung directly without further framing.

Jörg "Yogi" Schäfer is a German artist whose paintings have been shown in numerous exhibitions throughout Germany. His artistic practice focuses on translating sounds into colors and forms, as well as communicating sounds through structures, geometry, and color design. With his compositions, he aims to convey harmony and tranquility that have a positive influence on people and spaces. Since 2019, he and his partner Kerstin Franz (also found here) have shared studio and exhibition space in Freigericht.
