About this artwork
With this work, I wanted to capture the majestic presence of an iconic landmark—from a perspective that conveys both awe and grandeur. The combination of acrylic, screen printing, and marble powder creates a vibrant texture that playfully captures light and shadow. This image brings a powerful, timeless energy to any space and invites you to see the big things from small perspectives.
Jürgen Deimann works with serigraphy and painting, having trained in Berlin and Cologne in the "Junge Wilde" (Young Wild Ones) movement and in artistic screen printing. His proprietary technique, "Pentrapresado," combines up to fifteen layers of paint on coarsely textured cotton fabric, blending contemporary Pop Art, expressive realism, and neo-Baroque opulence. His works convey a fascinating intensity; they evoke wonder, invite close observation, and combine urban symbolism with the fragile beauty of nature.
