Two sheets of paper mounted on sturdy cardboard, titled Togetherness, Wax and Oil.
"Togetherness" is an abstract work in wax and oil. Layers, superimpositions, and structured color fields define the composition. The interplay of materials creates a nuanced surface that oscillates between transparency and density. The title alludes to relationship and intimacy within a non-representational visual language.
I work as a painter, draftsman, and printmaker, drawing on a solid foundation of training and ongoing professional development, particularly in acrylics, ink, and printmaking techniques. My technique is characterized by the combination of classical and modern methods, as well as working in series, where I delve deeply into individual themes. The works invite the viewer to take their time and discover new facets time and again – they fascinate with their depth and complexity. I am a member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists Augsburg eV and chairman of the Königsbrunn Artists' Circle.
