About this artwork
A group of farmers try to contain the hens who have rebelled for wanting to fly away. Animals, ocher, blue, people, red. Rebellion, in general, is an act of resistance to authority, or of disobedience when there is due obedience in a hierarchical organization.1 The word rebellion is also used to refer to a crime generally typified as a violent collective act, using weapons, with the purpose of overthrowing the legitimate authorities of the State.2…
When the authority is illegitimate, many legal systems consider that there is a right of rebellion in the heads of citizens.
Historically, rebellions have been considered legitimate or illegitimate, sometimes simultaneously, depending on the point of view adopted and the moral assessment derived from it. In many cases they are officially celebrated as foundational historical events, here the chickens want to found their own republic.

« Not everyone who sings is a singer. Also, not everyone who paints is a painter in the same way that not every painter is an artist. You must have talent, creativity, and discipline. »
