« I returned to painting, my first passion, as a vital need for expression, joy, and color. »
Jaime Nowinski was an experienced and award-winning artist based in Uruguay whose works were exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States, Brazil, Spain, Germany and Switzerland. He described his distinctive abstract expressionist paintings and sculptures as being created without the need for metaphysical explanations. In Nowinski's pictorial compositions, the palette knife, material and color are the protagonists.
In memory of Jaime Nowinski, this page is managed by Art Nowinski at the direction of his children.
